Elizabeth & Lucas's Glamorous Garden Wedding
When Elizabeth & Lucas chose to get married in the fall at Austin’s beloved Mattie’s I could not wait to start on the wedding design . It doesn’t get much better than a beautiful venue combined with autumn elements, which is my favorite wedding season. It also always helps when the bride has a fantastic eye for design.
For their wedding, Lucas & Elizabeth wanted to feature the natural beauty of Mattie’s with a romantic yet modern greenhouse vibe. From Clementine’s breathtaking flower installations to candles lining the tent to Botanical No. 9’s balloon installation behind the stage & over the dance floor in Marion Hall there was not one detail that was forgotten. One of my favorite elements was the the place setting, I am always a fan for going with an unexpected pop of color and the amber napkins from La Tavola Fine Linens provided just that. And I am personally a huge fan of yellow and always try and sneak it into our wedding designs when appropriate.
One of my favorite parts of the entire day was when Elizabeth’s brother, Rob, joined Memphis Soul to sing a song for the newlyweds. Thank you to Elizabeth & Lucas for letting my team be a part of your big day! It was such an honor.
Big thanks to an incredible vendor team!
