How do I even begin to describe Palmer & Colton’s wedding day? From the very beginning to the very end of the planning process Palmer & Colton, along with their families, were an absolute joy to work with. Not only did they keep me laughing & smiling at each meeting but they were very involved in the wedding process and knew exactly what type of wedding they wanted. And talk about style! Palmer could not have chosen a more perfect gown for the day. I am a big fan of non-traditional wedding dress colors!

Colton & Palmer’s final wedding design focused on a modern & minimalist style that worked extremely well at one of our all-time favorite venues, Prospect House. Olive trees were chosen to frame the ceremony site & afterwards they were moved inside next to the cake table creating a statement at the end of reception hall. As always Remi + Gold created magic with two incredible branch installations while brightening up the space with gorgeous fall blooms perfect for Palmer & Colton’s October wedding day. For the place settings I went extremely minimalist with ceramic dinnerware, gold flatware, grey bubble water glasses, and a lovely thank you note to each guest from the couple.

The love that surrounded these two on their big day was truly a sight to behold, and one that I will never forget. It is families like these which is why I became a wedding planner. Yes, design is one of my passions and I love making sure a wedding day runs like clock work but the real reason is seeing all of it come together in a wonderful day full of joy and love.

I am running behind on posting to our blog and its hard to believe this wedding was a year ago. Yes, 2020 has been a hard one for weddings but I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love most. Creating a beautiful day for families to let loose, feel joy, and make amazing new memories.
