Vital Farms National Brunch Series

One of our favorite events we have produced was the Vital Farms Bullsh*t Free Brunch Series. The WSE team traveled to Austin, Brooklyn, Chicago, Laguna Beach, Atlanta, Denver and Boston over the course of a year creating memorable and intimate brunch events featuring Vital Farms eggs and butter.

Each event was attended by a wide range of social media influencers who focus on sustainability, healthy eating, nutrition, cooking and wellness. The Vital Farms team walked guests through the mission of their company emphasizing how sustainable farming practices can be economically viable. The event goal was to foster a sense of community while showcasing Vital Farms eggs and butter in a unique way and creating a memorable morning for guests.

For all of the series events we produce we start with an overall brand design deck to ensure the event design matches the look and feel our clients are aiming for. With events happening in many different cities we want to make each event feel special while still maintaining a similar event concept across all events.

Vital Farms Brunch Series Mood Board

Vital Farms Brunch Series Mood Board

Our pitch deck includes:

  1. Custom event design: We focus on overall mood and vibe, table design breakdowns, texture references, color palette suggestions and overall branding design options.

  2. Giveaways and swag design options: We look at our clients target market goals for the event and customize all giveaways to what would appeal to that group. There is no point giving away the same swag at every event. Make your gifting personal and unique. This will resonate with your guests which will incentivize them to post to social media thus increasing your ROI.

  3. Interactive Activities: For this event we created a food photography station set with vintage props, linens, vital farms eggs and egg/butter cartons. Guests had the option of photographing their food at the table or going to the photo station. In general, always add an interactive activity to your event whether it is a photo station, typewriter poet, fashion sketch artist, or some sort of creative activity that guests can create themselves. This is a great way to foster conversation and give guests something to chat about.

  4. Guest Experience: When we produce an event we like to spend quite a bit of time thinking through our guest’s full event experience. How are they greeted when they enter the space? What details can we add to the event to make guests feel special right as they arrive? Does the event schedule flow well?

  5. Event Production: A full breakdown of all the logistical tasks for a production schedule, staffing, timelines and budget analysis.

For this particular series the influencer gift bags we created contained a custom food photography kit complete with a branded waxed canvas lunch bag, 2 unique napkins tied with decorative ribbon, a set of vintage flatware, an olive wood bowl with 2 sets of gourmet La Luna salt packets, a ceramic egg cup, Vital Farms swag and gift cards.

To create a cohesive look for each event we worked with Boarding School Collective to create custom watercolor menus based on actual Vital Farms cows and chickens. Each menu was updated for every city. We also traveled with a beautiful hand painted watercolor welcome sign attached to a reclaimed wood panel. In addition to these pieces we used the same indigo pompom napkins and brass feather napkin holders at each event to keep a consistent look across all cities.

Every city had their own highlights from curated egg and butter focused menus to custom cocktails and creative mimosas bars to spectacular deviled eggs, cured eggs, custard made with eggs, frittatas, eggs benedict, shakshuka, avocado toast with poached egg, ahi tuna toast with cured egg and so much more. The food was the highlight of this event series and one of our main goals during the planning phase was finding restaurants that were willing to think outside the box and create an aesthetically pleasing menu featuring our client’s products.

We love producing events of all sizes and are firm believers that events do not have to have a massive attendee list to create a lasting impact and decent ROI. The WSE Team is here to help so reach out anytime to start planning your next great event!
