Diana and Damian’s wedding at Prospect House was the ending to a fantastic Spring wedding season. With a couple this sweet, it was not surprising that their day turned out to be as lovely as it did. From Diana’s bridesmaid’s dresses to the dreamy florals by Clementine Botanical Art there was not a detail that went untouched. One of our favorite moments of the day was Diana and Damian’s heartfelt first look.

Enjoy a brief Q+A with bride Diana on their wedding planning process.

Q: How did you two meet?

Diana: We met at a bar in Houston.

Q: How long did you have to plan your wedding?

Diana: A little over a year and a half.

Q: Where did y'all live while planning your wedding?

Diana: I lived in Houston and Damian lived in Midland.

Q: Why did you choose to have a destination wedding?

Diana: The venues in Houston weren't really suitable for the style we wanted, so after browsing social media we knew we had to have our wedding at Prospect House!

Q: What was your final guest count?

Diana: 177

Q: What inspired the design of your wedding?

Diana: I wanted a bohemian vibe- lots of greenery and soft color tones.

Q: How did you decide on the colors and dresses for the girls in your bridal party?

Diana: Kate helped a ton with the colors. I gave her ideas of what I wanted and she worked her magic! I knew I wanted the bridesmaids dresses to be different colors, so once I got the color palette from Kate I picked out different colors that were similar to our florals.

Q: What is your favorite memory of the day?

Diana: Walking out to the venue for the first time and seeing all of the planning come to life-- it took my breath away.

Q: Now that you are married, what advice would you give to a couple currently planning their own wedding?

Diana: Have FUN! Savor every moment of it. Even when it gets super stressful just know that in the end it will be worth it.
