One of our favorite events of last year was the fabulous party we designed and planned for Chandon! We absolutely love the design direction the marketing for Sweet Star has taken and it's the perfect jumping off point for a vibrant, spontaneous and entertainment focused event design.
The whole design revolves around making bold design statements in key places with the preferred color palette of the brand - pink, teal and gold. For the outdoor lawn at the Four Seasons we took advantage of the amazing trees to create a vibrant fringe canopy. Add in some festoon lights to finish the look and create that outdoor patio feel and voila an outdoor astroturf lawn is now a branded statement piece.
The layout out of the lawn did pose a bit of a logistical challenge in that we had to create a presentation space, lounge areas, photo booth activation and bar/food space all the while not making the small lawn feel crowded. In the end we opted for sticking to the perimeter so guests could move freely from the lounge areas to the stage and not feel hemmed in.
Our team is big on lounge areas, if you can't tell. Every event we find a way to incorporate a new piece but these sets are easily our new favorite pieces in town. Thanks 10th Collection!
Besides the presentation there were two main activities, a VR racing setup, where guests can challenge themselves on the Circuit of the Americas track and a balloon bubble inspired photo booth activation. Photo booths are pretty common at most corporate events but by fabricating a unique and tactile backdrop that allows guests to play makes this activity instagram worthy. If guests are having fun, they will share and if they share the social media ROI of your event can be extended well past the event date.
Enjoy! Thank you Sophie Epton Photography for the fabulous photos.
