Our approach to event planning is based upon the belief that each Wild Sky Events client brings their own unique vision to their event concept and that together, we make that vision a reality. We are passionate about producing and designing immersive and impactful live experiences and creative spaces that are designed to make our clients vision pop and be remembered long after the event is done.
Kate Goddard, Creative Director - Wild Sky Events
12 years ago I began this adventure in the event planning world as a lighting designer and corporate event producer planning events for some of the worlds top brands. This industry has taken me from San Francisco to London working on projects such as relaunching a major tech company named one the best by Fast co, thousand guest food and wine festivals, lavish social events and charity galas at some of the west coasts most exclusive properties.
I thrive on the challenge producing large scale events bring and use my many years of experience to ensure every event runs smoothly. My background in technical production allows me to not only design events using the latest event technology but help my clients navigate the entire production process.
Over the years my team has designed and produced events for Universal Music Group, SXSW, Zendesk, Chandon, Hulu, Yahoo!, The Nature Conservancy, Lyft, ARA, Cottonelle, Frontline, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Formula 1, Pearson, University of Cambridge, The Knot Wedding Network, Fortune 500 companies and exciting new tech startups. These have ranged from 1,000 guests food and wine festivals and SXSW music showcases to product launch events, corporate holiday events, non-profit galas and stunning weddings.
Bridget Dawson - Senior Event Planner
Proudly from Upstate NY, Bridget found her passion for events while interning at a film festival. In one year, she went from working as an intern to the festival operations manager and from then on chased every unique opportunity the event industry has to offer.
Bridget's work in events has taken her from coast to coast and to 42 states. She has coordinated the building of multi-million dollar conventions, wrangled reality TV stars, produced festival brand activations and has led the stadium logistics for an international soccer tournament.
Upon moving to Austin, Bridget found the city's “Keep It Weird” energy paired with some of the country's biggest events a perfect fit.
She enjoys being hands on with every event load in, and working closely with vendors to develop the logistics that lead to executing a flawless event. Outside of work, you will find Bridget exploring the outdoors with her dog or trying a new recipe at home.
